We offer support to help you keep your home and manage your mortgage.
Our Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Program offers:
- One-on-one counseling from HUD-certified counselors for foreclosure prevention
- Access to home repair loans

Building More Affordable Housing for NYC
Fifth Avenue Committee (FAC) develops, preserves, renovates, and manages affordable housing units for low and moderate-income New Yorkers.
Our impact:
- Over 1,200 units of affordable housing built or renovated

- Support to organize tenant associations
- Educational workshops on tenant rights and community activism
- Opportunities for community members to participate in policy change efforts


Adult Education Programs

Level up your skills with Fifth Avenue Committee (FAC) Adult Education.
Our Adult Education programs include:
- GED Prep Classes
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Digital Literacy Skills: Practical technology skills, online safety, and financial management
- Bridge programming, which provides instruction to prepare students to enter workforce development programs with FAC’s affiliate, Brooklyn Workforce

- Focuses on development without displacement
- Aims to improve community connectivity and access to
