Uplift is a free financial education series from Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Fifth Avenue Committee, sponsored by the Hispanic Federation. Ten sessions, 90 minutes each, including time for your questions and practical next steps you can take right away.
Sessions cover money goals, budgeting, saving, credit, debt, work and income, taxes, renting, buying a home, and protecting yourself from scams. No experience needed and nothing to buy. Every session points you to our free one-on-one supportive services — financial coaching, housing counseling, tenant support, job training, and more.
Presented by Cindy Johnson, Financial Coach at Fifth Avenue Committee, and Anthony Coker, Homeownership Program Manager at Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Come to one or come to all. Everyone is welcome.
