New Affordable Housing Development in Boreum Hill

A new development at 153 Nevins St. will bring 70 affordable, rent-stabilized homes to the community. The project, led by Fifth Avenue Committee, will prioritize families and formerly homeless individuals, with 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. The building will also feature a community room, laundry facilities, an exercise room, and a backyard with play areas. Plus, in partnership with FAC’s affiliate, Brooklyn Workforce Innovations, there will be a job training center to help New Yorkers build their careers.
