Bridge Program

Launch a new career with hands-on training and personalized support. Our Bridge programs connect you to in-demand industries and help you build the skills, confidence, and credentials to succeed. Offered in partnership with 布鲁克林劳动力创新 (BWI), a trusted leader in workforce development, we don’t just train you we ensure you graduate ready to work.

Choose from two career tracks: 

  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): Prepare for your Class B license and start a career in transportation. 
  • Cable Installation: Train for BICSI certification and learn to install and maintain network systems.

You’ll also receive: 

  • Industry-specific English instruction. 
  • One-on-one career counseling and job placement support.
  • Help with your job search, applications, and interviews.
  • Multicultural team of teachers with roots in communities speaking Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, French Creole, Arabic, Bangla, and more.

Volunteer with Adult Education

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Join our team of volunteers and help adults in Brooklyn build skills, earn credentials, gain independence and change their lives. Whether you’re an experienced educator or just passionate about helping others, we’ll match your skills with the right opportunity. 

We welcome volunteers to: 

  • Tutor students in reading, writing, math, or English. 
  • Support digital literacy and online learning. 
  • Coach job seekers through resume prep and interview practice. 
  • Assist in classrooms or provide one-on-one support.

Yes, all our adult education classes are free of charge.
GED, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Digital Literacy and workforce bridge classes connecting participants to careers in Commercial Driving (CDL class B) and Low Voltage Cable Installation.
